Serpents, Aliens, and Jews – Oh My!

The Huffington Post recently ran an article entitled Belief That Jews Killed Jesus Is Held By Over a Quarter of Americans outlining a recent survey conducted by the Anti-Defamation League that indicates 26% of Americans still blame the Jews for the death of Jesus.

A recent survey by the Anti-Defamation League determined that 26% of Americans still believe that “Jews were responsible for the death of Christ.” Though that percentage has decreased from 31% in 2011, it still accounts for over a quarter of America.

This was a random survey polling 1,200 people, but I would like to see a survey conducted only of those who identify as Christians. My guess is that number would be substantially higher.

It doesn’t take long when you wander around in the blogosphere to encounter such loons who blame every known malady of mankind and the world on the Jews. Christians aren’t immune to this kind of poison and are usually the main culprits. Many such crazy theories originated within Christian circles such as The Serpent Seed Doctrine. It’s certainly not new but a modern form is taking shape……..and gaining steam.

Likewise, The Protocols of the Elders of Zion has been circling the globe for over a century now, and it never finds a shortage of buffoons to embrace it. But it’s not enough anymore to blame everything on the Jews or claim they control the world. No. Not only is Satan their father, but they are an alien hybrid race sent here to infiltrate and deceive mankind. The mastery of their deception has eluded the pure human race for centuries, and the entire world is spiraling hopelessly down into the pits of hell unknowingly.

This alien hybrid theory was made popular by the self-proclaimed Son of the Godhead David Icke in his 1999 book The Biggest Secret.

Icke argues that humanity was created by a network of secret societies run by an ancient race of interbreeding bloodlines from the Middle and Near East, originally extraterrestrial. Icke calls them the “Babylonian Brotherhood.” The Brotherhood is mostly male. Their children are raised from an early age to understand the mission; those who fail to understand it are pushed aside. The spread of the reptilian bloodline encompasses what Norman Simms calls the odd and ill-matched, extending to 43 American presidents, three British and two Canadian prime ministers, various Sumerian kings and Egyptian pharaohs, and a smattering of celebrities such as Bob Hope. Key Brotherhood bloodlines are the Rockefellers, the Rothschilds, various European royal and aristocratic families, the establishment families of the Eastern United States, and the British House of Windsor. Icke identified the Queen Mother in 2001 as “seriously reptilian.

Now, he claims he is not anti-Semitic and Jews too are just unfortunate victims of this alien invasion. Still, it fuels a lot of branches in the conspiracy tree. Hence, the emergence of a modified Serpent Seed doctrine borrowing bits from Icke’s reptilian hybrid theory. Luckily, we have a few enlightened souls being called to warn us of this deception!

One such person is internet evangelist Sherry Shriner in her article entitled The Serpent and the Illuminati. This article meticulously describes this doctrine. Apparently, she has a direct line of communication with God and He told her the following [bold emphasis mine]:

Yahweh told me this:
Tell Them!

Do you see the picture developing? The last days are TERROR! WOE!

Woe to those who will seek to harm My little ones! My own I will protect, but Woe to the planners of evil and those who plan to destroy the world!

I will allow it and then MY Judgment will come!

Many pieces to the puzzle, I will show them to you and reveal My Glory through you to the nations.

My child, know this that the last days are of suffering and terror. Such terror has never been known before, those of old (Anuk) will walk and control the earth. They will commit and enforce evil of every kind. And when I return there will be more of them than man left. Woe! Woe!

Give them the warnings of terror to come so that they will find peace and strength in ME. For I shall lose nothing given to Me. Those in MY hands ARE MINE.

Many will be tested but they are MINE. To be refined in the fire and then set gloriously in MY light.

Tell them child. Tell them no one can even begin to imagine the horrors that are coming. Your safety and refuge are within ME!

TELL THEM!!

She claims her websites get 3 million hits per month. I don’t know how true that is but it wouldn’t surprise me. Another such site is a Hebraic Prophecy Forum where every conspiracy possible is laid out in a big smorgasbord of posts. Everything from blood libel to child sacrifice to satanic worship – it’s all there and more.

Like Shriner, she also seems to have a direct line of communication with God. You see, He has let her see the people who shape-shift, and He will not  let her study anything else. She also maintains a blog but doesn’t allow comments – go figure.

These two are classic Christian Identity adherents even if they don’t know it. According to the ADL:

Christian Identity is a religious ideology popular in extreme right-wing circles. Adherents believe that whites of European descent can be traced back to the “Lost Tribes of Israel.” Many consider Jews to be the Satanic offspring of Eve and the Serpent, while non-whites are “mud peoples” created before Adam and Eve. Its virulent racist and anti-Semitic beliefs are usually accompanied by extreme anti-government sentiments. Despite its small size, Christian Identity influences virtually all white supremacist and extreme anti-government movements. It has also informed criminal behavior ranging from hate crimes to acts of terrorism.

Taking hold in this country at a time when anti-Semitism was as well, British Israelism increasingly advanced the idea – common in anti-Semitic circles in the early twentieth century – that most Jews were not really descendants of ancient Israelites, but were instead descended from an Asiatic people known as the Khazars, who settled near the Black Sea during the Middle Ages. European (Ashkenazic) Jews were thus “false” Israelites who further obscured the fact that it was really white Europeans who were the “true” Israelites. One of the most influential British-Israel advocates of this and other anti-Jewish ideas was William J. Cameron, editor of the Dearborn Independent, the weekly newspaper published by automobile magnate Henry Ford in the 1920s, and Ford’s press adviser until the 1940s. Under Cameron’s leadership, the Independent popularized the infamous anti-Semitic hoax, “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion.”

Besides being poster children for the mentally impaired, what purpose do these people serve? What fuels their hate? And why are Christians the largest anti-Semitic group in the world? There are many reasons, but the main one is the Jewish people are a giant sty in the eye of Christianity. The very fact they still exist, despite the numerous attempts to wipe them out, calls into question the validity of their faith.

This is not to say all Christians fall into these categories. Actually, the majority probably don’t. But there is always a persistent vocal minority that always thrives and they seem to be growing these days.

Psa 37:20  But the wicked will perish; the enemies of the LORD are like the glory of the pastures; they vanish—like smoke they vanish away.

  1. Hello Ben,
I’ve enjoyed your Blog. Some of your views are a different take than my way of thinking. But hey, you’re on the right track IMO.

This christian identity ideology infuriates me because it’s so dangerous. I have started a conversation with the owner of the hebraic prophecy forum you linked – we’ll see how far I get before I’m banned. I’m already banned at her sister site. 🙂

    • Thanks Sam,

Yes this ideology is very dangerous. It creates an “Us” vs “Them” mentality that history proves never ends well. It basically stems from good ole’ jealousy. Good luck with your “conversation” over there, but don’t expect too much though. These people are incapable of debating anyone who don’t agree with them and you’ll get shut down promptly when you present facts, especially if those facts are scriptures. Trust me I know their kind all too well – unfortunately.
